So, we roll into 2024 and the big news is that the game itself is almost ready and we are finally getting to the point where we are making decisions about publication. Whether to self-publish or go with a company, price points and how to release the various products.
2023 has been busy; in addition to new jobs and new family members, over the last few months, the game has been undergoing a load more playtesting and while we haven’t changed anything major mechanically, this process has been invaluable for tweaking rules, clarifying and balancing. The fundamentals are sound and feedback continues to be very positive – thanks to all involved.
If anything, the biggest change has been the change of name to The Stack, a reference to the pile of cards which each player draws from and also to soldiers stacking up before they breach a building.
You will also notice we have revamped the website and brought it up to date with the current list of products in development.
